Playwright, Director, Actor, Theatre Activist and Teacher Mr. Maruf Kabir actively involved with theatre more than 30 years. Mr. Kabir is Visiting Scholar, Department of Drama, TISC School of Arts, New York University, USA. He teaches at Department of Television, Film and Photography, University of Dhaka as part time teacher. He is Managing Editor of Bengali Magazine ‘Theatre’. Having Post Graduation major in Advertising from the Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka. Mr. Maruf Kabir has an experience of more than 25 years in the field of Development Communication, Behavior Change and advertising. He managed many successful national programs and campaigns. He is experienced in strategy development, conceptualization, planning and implementation of strategic behavior change communication, social branding, and integrated marketing communication and policy advocacy programs. He is having leadership skill to manage different business project. Beside he is mountaineer and climbed several mountain in Everest region. His photographs published in many national and international publications. He is Managing Director of Visual Communication Limited, Chairman, Karanja Spa Resort Limited, Managing Partner, Basic Studios and Chairman, Institute of Culture and Theatre for Development.
